In this role, you’ll join Colliers in a position responsible for providing clerical support to multiple employees. 

Who you are
We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant with proven experience who can work with our highly technical team.  This person must be super organized, have a keen eye for the details, and can manage complex projects from start to finish in a timely manner. You’re good at collecting the necessary information up front, following up as needed, and delivering high quality reports.  You are eager to learn, a quick study, and use independent thinking skills to ensure on time delivery of professionally prepared assignments.

You love variety in your work where every day is different from the next. You’re the kind of person who dives right in, learning as much as you can about the industry, your tasks, and people’s various work styles.  You enjoy working with local staff as well as remote staff.

What you bring:

  • A High School diploma or University degree
  • At least 5 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe (or Bluebeam), and Outlook skills.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written (proof-reading) and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm to complete projects within tight deadlines

Bonus skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of the construction industry, perhaps previous experience working for an engineering firm, general contractor, or architect.
  • Contract and scope of work proofreading

What success looks like:

  • You have a track record of completing projects timely and understand the importance of accuracy.
  • You are able to manage multiple competing priorities
  • You are able to perform data entry using Excel
  • Your Team feels confident in your ability to assist them with their reports to clients.
  • Your Team reports positively on your willingness to work and succeed.
